I wasnt wrong.Game manager and Tua should never be in the same sentence
An insult to game managers quite franklyGame manager and Tua should never be in the same sentence

TBH I'd be scared of a dead cat bounce if they fired McDaniel. Everyone involved knows he's gone at end of the year - might as well let him ride it out at this point. There'd be a discussion if the season was salvagable(1-4, 2-5... but 2-7 they're done). What’s the point of even letting Tua and McDaniel finish the season?
Fire McDaniel.
Get rid of Tua.
Might as well trade Waddle. At least get ahead of the market before Jakobi Meyers gets moved for like a 5th rounder.
Achane is really good but there’s not a core here to build around. It’s gonna take a new head coach 3-4 years to build anything here.
You make a good point about the cap hit.TBH I'd be scared of a dead cat bounce if they fired McDaniel. Everyone involved knows he's gone at end of the year - might as well let him ride it out at this point. There'd be a discussion if the season was salvagable(1-4, 2-5... but 2-7 they're done).
Tua.... it's tougher. The dead cap hit would be crazy but there's a precedent set with cutting him and eating the money with Russell Wilson. I'd probably just finish out the season, draft a guy high and let Tua play until that guy is ready in 2026, then move on.
My Flawda folk Lamar from Broward and plays in Baltimore. He don't fukk with Chump
Look I'm a Dolphins fan but face it our qb is
1)retarded
2)has a weak noodle arm
3)is MAGA
It's not out of the realm of possibility the kid QB you draft is ready week 1 or at least very early in the 2026 season(a la Dart)You make a good point about the cap hit.
The concern I have is that NFL coaches are expected to win quickly.
So let’s say you fire McDaniel and bring in a new coach. He drafts his franchise QB next spring, but he’s going start Tua next season.
Off the rip, you’re wasting Year 1 of the head coach’s contract. You’re gonna go into Year 2 with your new QB as the starter, but it’ll be his rookie year, effectively. And that’s likely to be a struggle.
Now you’re in Head Coach Year 3, and if that rookie QB and the team isn’t up to standard, you’re probably firing the head coach.
So now you have your franchise QB in HIS 3rd season, having to learn a new system with a new coach…and…I mean how many times have we seen this?
You either have to bring in the HC and QB together to start immediately or you need to commit to a head coach for 4-5 years at least to build any continuity and lay down a foundation.
But that seems to rarely happen in the NFL.
Mehhh this past month would say otherwise. Whatever goodwill he had left in that locker room went away when he snitched and shyt on everyone including the coach even with him being part of the problem as well. It's not out of the realm of possibility the kid QB you draft is ready week 1 or at least very early in the 2026 season(a la Dart)
At that point, having Tua as a high priced backup for the rest of the year ain't the worst thing in the world.
Seems like a better use of resources than just eating a bunch of $$$ and then paying another guy to be a backup. I don't think Tua is that big of a clubhouse cancer that he's gotta be removed no matter what
