ION KNOW IF YALL REMEMBER BUT GFID WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOUBLE DISC BUT THE ALBUM KEPT GETTIN PUSHED BACK DUE TO ROSS' HEALTH ISSUES & AND THE UNEXPECTED FLOP OF "YOU THE BOSS" FEATURING NIKKI MINAJ. ROSS DROPPED THE AGGRESSIVE SIDE OF GFID IN THE FORM OF RICH FOREVER & KEPT THE SMOOTHER LEFT FIELD TRAX FOR GFID AS A SINGLE DISC FOR REATAIL. I STILL BUMP GFID AS WELL THO. ROSS HAS EMERGED AS THE GREATEST RAP ARTIST OF THE POST KANYE ERA. NOBODY'S REALLY TOUCHIN HIS CATALOGUE & HE'S BEEN ON FIRE SINCE TRILLA. .....ASHES TO ASHES...RICH FOREVER....TEFLON DON....GOD FORGIVES I DONT...MSTRMND... AUTHENTICITY ASIDE...HIS WORK IS UNDENIABLE AFTER YOU BOUL EVERYTHING DOWN TO THE CORE CRITERIA OF THE CULTURE IN TERMS OF THE BENCHMARKS IN RAP MUSIC.

Was just saying this to myself last week when i put Mastermind, GFID and Rich Forever on a blank cd (after having not heard the latter two in over a year).


Shiit sounds GREAT AS FUKK!



The only track i skip is Mind Games... but the quality of the music and production is fukkin' insane.


Even have to give propulatics to the engineer for exceptional sequencing.
