Alright alright youve made your point.
I said what I said somewhat irresponsibly. I just get tired of how Jewish wealth is explained in terms of harmful stereotypes.
If were going to speak in generalizations , then lets be honest... Jewish people ARE, for the most part, very intelligent. Maybe that has something to do with the Jewish influence at the top of the pyramid. And let me just say that as a Jew, Im not proud of that particular sphere of influence.
I feel proud of my heritage when I listen to Bob Dylan, or watch a Stanley Kubrick film. The banksters and CEOs are diluting our culture and giving Jews a bad name. But they are intelligent though, gotta give em credit for that
Anyways it's always better to avoid generalizations. So I'll admit that what I said was definitely a hyperbole, and definitely reactionary.
But I stand by the sentiment. Not because I think Jewish people are genetically predisposed to be more intelligent, but because I think Jewish culture promotes critical thinking and knowledge of self
We don't have the luxury of wearing rose-tinted glasses. Because of of the Holocaust, and the programs, and other events of persecution. Jewish identity is complex.. Ive had fascinating conversations with more religious Jews that I still don't fully understand. But the point is that, as a Jew, it is not possible to sit back and accept idyllic suburban surroundings and American culture as the meaning of life. shyt...... we can't even accept our own religious doctrines as the meaning of life anymore. Because the question remains, 'why would God kill off half the population of his chosen people?'
To be Jewish is to ask questions.
We accept that there is no absolute truth but love.
