Any grown ass man seeking a father figure is a clown to me.

It's one thing you can learn from someone and try to make improvements in your own life.

It's another when you hold them in such high regards and make excuses for them when they say or do something wrong.

It's one thing to be a fan of someone's work.

It's another when you take who you a fan of and try to idolize and worship them like they a God.

So yeah, that father figure shyt stays. Y'all lives are that damn miserable to the point y'all be trying to live vicariously through these celebrities.

Because a lot of these internet daddies spread toxic, divisive messages and misinformation.
Thing is.. a lot of REAL fathers and uncles aren’t on shyt so it’s funny how these dudes will clown men who are trying but will hid the sins of their kin.

KS; he’s promoting toxicity and attempting to divide the black family unit! 😤😡

Their pops: hey man :manny: Pappa was a rollin’ stone:lolbron: mama still loved ‘em though. I get it from him

I agree the term is way too derogatory considering the community is currently directionless. I get that people worship is a problem for some here, but at the sametime some of you take one thing you disagree about someone and disregard all of the truth/positives that person may bring(hit dogs holler, idk).

The fact is there is not going to be a perfect mentor/leader or "father figure", unless you can find some godlike figure who has the perfect philosophy, with no blemishes.

Also that following goes both ways. Like with tariq, ive seen more threads about him from haters than i do with fans. Hell there a youtube channels dedicated to finding any kind of flaws in the "father figures" arent any better than those who find no wrong.

That’s the thing dumb ass and the point of the thread. No one is looking for a father figure it’s just a label unfairly and inappropriately applied to those who follow the podcasts of any black male.
