That 95 Rockets team was my favorite non-Celtics team ever. Beating the Jazz, coming back on the Suns after being down 3-1, Hakeem sonning Robinson, Sweeping the Magic. Beating the top 3 seeds in the West, and the 1 seed in the East, as the 6th seed out West. Hakeem was always great, but 95 and 94, He was possessed.

magic were young and inexperienced. hakeems squad was better than D robs/more well balanced

I guess that's why Hakeem won a title without a true #2 and was on the road for every single round of the playoffs. The old better team with worse seeding and ranking in major categories trick.

Lol at the Rockets being Better then the Magic

lol at the rockets being better than phoenix.

on paper that rocket team probably wasnt better than san antonio

hakeem was just in a zone at that time. plus the shooters were on point. defensively they brought it.

but what bulls fan or anybody said that hakeem would be contained by the bulls front court?

Those bulls big men were deadly theyd kill hakeem

:birdman: Phil would have found a way to keep #34 form getting the ball in the post Da Bulls was not losing back then.

I think that the Bulls having extra bodies to rotate in and out on Hakeem could have maybe been successful in wearing him down a little bit.

He Bulls started Cartwright at center and had Perdue, Stacy King, and Scott Williams backing him up. Not too many other teams in the league had as many expendable big men as the Bulls did back then, and certainly no team as good as the Bulls.

I think that the while Hakeem would've gotten his, the Bulls had the size and depth to make him work hard for everything that he would get. I think that they had the bodies to throw at Hakeem and could have possibly worn him down some. I also think hat their size and depth would have allowed them to guard without doubling since they would not have had to worry about foul trouble.

The hilarious thing is seeing how Hakeem beasted on the four headed Bulls monster in 97 Gravity bigs up. He even got double teamed which they said Phil hated to do.
