He eventually storms past me to the shower, and while he’s gone Zach Randolph, a rookie then, leans in to me and says, “When ‘sheed comes back, make sure you don’t have your back to him. He’ll sucker punch you.”

The great irony is that a month later Randolph sucker-punched Ruben Patterson during a practice breaking his eye socket. Someone was holding Patterson’s arms when Randolph threw the haymaker. There was a period of a few days after that incident where Randolph hid out at Dale Davis’ house because he feared that Patterson was going to try and shoot him.”

i don't like this article, they did petty shyt, the pats are actually the worst behaved team, they had a serial killer and a guy who beat up a police officer, that tops anything the blazers did.

Pats didn't act out like the Blazers though. Those nikkas gave no fukks and was fighting each other, their coaching staff, fans and reporters. No body was off limits.

I don't know why there hasn't been a book about this team yet.
This is a book that absolutely has to be done one day. Jason Quick was the Blazers lead insider when it came to articles team coverage and he just had a not too amicable split where he doesn't want to cover the team anymore and is covering the Oregon Ducks. Hopefully one day he writes a book.
I listen to the local radio guys here and you listen enough, more and more tidbits start to come out.
Rumor is that the stories that have been made public are the tip of the iceberg, they are the stories that aren't so bad. LOL!

Stuff not mentioned which has been in the media in some form:
- Mo Cheeks was a ladies man. On road trips he would actually spend his time looking for ladies in the hotel lobby.
- Zach Randolph home was a compound with enough space to keep neighbors away. Rumors of drugs, dog fighting, and gang activity were rampant.
- Zach Randolph had a hotel room he rented year round in Portland to stash his side pieces.
- Damon Stoudamire had two houses on the same block. One was his nice, family house. The other was for fukkery. We only saw one on MTV cribs.
- Rasheed routinely threatened and intimidated reporters. Refused to talk to white reporters if he didn't have to.
- Rasheed would throw basketballs at the players who barely made the team. Often hitting them in the face.
- Sabonis wife was an alcoholic and had multiple DUI's.
