I missed "Trader Bob' (the GM). Dude would get any and everybody who had talent...didn't give a fukk what his past was.

The thing about Portland is it's a small. It's prominently a white town. The Blazers similar to the Kings and Jazz are the only professional team in town so they were adored. The fans were used to winning as the Blazers made it to the playoffs 21 years in a row. The fukkery that ensued during that era turned a lot of the wholesome Blazer fans away.
