I have experience in Linux/unix but mostly Solaris.
I wanna take a DB course tho. Got some training from work on Oracle and MySql but only enought to do what we need. Thus far i know how to run SQL statements to either lookup or insert db entries but thats about it.

Any good book you'd recommend? Any courses?

I mostly learned through on the job stuff. If I find the PDF I used to study for the test I will up it and you can start there with the PL/SQL stuff. Around here DB developers with Java are in high demand

CCNP Sec, MCITP, and CISSP

I know a lot about a lot. Ask away...

Any courses/books you would recommend? I've always wanted to get a Cisco certification. I've wrked on some switches and ASAs before when I was an intern. Security is big now so i wanna start working towards getting a CISSP in a few years to make myself more marketable.
