Heed Breed.
If 50 really wanted to force a classic he can do it in a instant. All he has to do is call up all the great producers like pharrel , kanye , just blaze , alchemists , timberland , etc . That mixed with his song writing and aggressiveness . Magic. you know he got the money .

But only fucc boys like jay z does this shyt nd fail.

Ye i've said this before. He clearly does things his way and wants to come back on his own terms. He could easily do what others have done and hopped on a south beat and got a flavor of the month feature and changed his style. RESPECT

The Massacre is a classic...all hes gotta do is get some beats like he had on that album. Hes still got his voice, flow, and lyrically he's always been somewhere in the "B" range. Fif's gotta be one of the most consistent at what he does, kinda reminds me of Havoc.

My only problem with his music over the past 5 years is some of the beats on his mixtapes but i still fukks with BISD :manny:

The premise of this thread makes ZERO sense.

If he COULD, he WOULD. Otherwise it would be stupid of him to waste time and energy and MONEY trying to do it his way knowing that his way won’t work (not only that, NO LABEL ON EARTH will let the artist do it their way if their way means losing money). I mean, that nikka dropped HOW MANY singles off the “Curtis” album before he had to admit the shyt was a dud? I ain’t never seen THAT many singles drop off an album from a “superstar” artists where NONE of the singles do shyt on the chart. That’s unprecedented.

Like he didn’t THINK he had a pop hit with “Ayyo Technology”….so you want me to believe he didn’t DELIBERATELY make that song? That he put that song out because HE wanted to, knowing it wouldn’t catch on, but somehow wanting to stick to his “vision”? AND that Interscope was like “we respect your vision, Curtis….so we’ll support this song despite the fact that we think it’s garbage…”? :stopitslime:

You takin’ stanning to new heights with this one…. :pachaha:

All I'm saying if all else fails he can do this.

It's not like he's been doing nothing but rapping and is unable to make shyt hit . He's been very active outside of music .

This my first time saying anything on 50 , I'm not a Stan . Just reconigzed he has the money to do what jay did .

This thread was built of a relization . Nothing more nothng less.

fiddy never up'd his actual skillset.
plus, his cadence is not superior enough given his time in the game.
real talk,..
we should be getting lower level killer Lloyd banks style verses from fiddy.
with fiddy's better deliveries/clarity/flows, enunciation on records.
instead, we mainly get fiddy on the wrong outdated production.
plus, no actual upside to listening to him rhyme wise.

it is to the point,..his once middle of the road interior rhyme, best in a mainstream pop artist skills.
just are not there,..
plus, he is chasing making hits.
instead of actually making records that push him further.

now, do I think he purposefully released a slew of duds.
to administratively warrant him being able to get this distribution deal.
yeah, I do think that was part of an admin possibility.
yet, it also hurt him because when you do a movie in rap.
especially on interscope.
interscope withdraws a lot of your marketing and permeation.
they did it to Eminem on eight mile, and they also did it to fiddy on grodt.
so, I think in that fiddy coasted to the finish line on his interscope deal.
just fulfilling the basic label requirements, and hiding his high quality work.

yet, that also hurt his brand beyond possible repair, as well.
it could be viewed as a great admin move.
yet, by the public not in the possible know.
they view it as a track record of low quality work.
that has been solidified and gives him the wack label, and a possibility of no return.

back when he was killing,..he made records that everyone followed.
now,..he makes collab records just to make them and they have no real purpose.
plus, he makes collab records like they are hits.
when nobody listened to fiddy for collabs.
they listened to fiddy to single handidly carry his hooks and the record.

ever, since...candy shop and he switched up from the dre single first.
he has damaged his draw, and right now.
I am not sure if he can get a grasp of what he used to have to succeed.

this is coming from a guy who gave good reviews on war angel and the record after that.

plus, big ten was a good offering.
outside of that,...his collab feature attempts at current market hits.
were all low quality for him, and have him in that wannabe rnb rapper mode.
or, he has to many outdated sample based records, that are not known as his high drawing series of sample records people want to hear.

plus, he has to find the new it gen talent in new York production, period.
if he does not do that, he will lose with this new distribution deal.

I am a fiddy supporter, but I can't take anymore of those grodt movie soundtrack hustler ambition ass records anymore.
when, I liked i'll whip your head boi, and other gritty shyt from him.

he needs to leave all those old sample beats from the grodt movie soundtrack records the fukk alone, all together.
plus, up his technical skills way way more, and find that new it sound in new York producer wise.

I feel like I never heard something "behind" the words in 50 cent. Like when you listen to Styles P, Young Buck, Beans, Eminem, Prodigy, a lot other artists I could name.. there is "soul" behind their rap. There is a level of human emotion or spiritual connection below the actual words they're saying. With 50 it's like you can't scratch under the surface, it's just a glossy finish even if the content is gritty.

You may be right on him needing to upgrade his skillset, but I think even better skills can't give you longevity if you aren't talking about something deeper.
