Recently on this thread, some of us were having a discussion on who and what is latino.

I don't get how or why thecoli and Yanks in general, don't understand that 'Latino' is a meta-ethnocultural group and not a race.
There are White/Euro Latinos (Go to Argentina, Uruguay and Southern Brazil), Afro/Black Latinos (Mi no black, papi) and Amerindian Latinos (Central America and Bolivia have plenty) and everybody in between.

It seems like if you have more 'Southern European' facial features, then you might be seen as 'latino'. Hmmmmmmmm!?

Let's play a guessing game. Which of these women are 'Latinas' and which aren't? (And no, not all of them are latina or non-latina)

Latino is specific to a region to carribean and central and South America that speaks Spanish.
Is my understanding of it. It's not a race. They are for the most part, white.

There is black Latinos in all of those countries. They are black people from those designated areas who speak Spanish .

There are even Asian Latino people. Depending on their cultural ties they will choose to self identify as whatever they lean toward the most

Main point is, all the cats that show up in the Asian girl/White girl/Latina threads and say:
"I'm not interested in her unless she's a black woman."

So you disagree that majority of the Latinos in Latin America aren't European? So what is the majority then in Latin America. It sure isn't african/black people. Please correct me , I don't want to be walking out looking a fool
