But I can also say yes you can somewhat make a case he was slight overrated but the thing is its all about potential. Literally he came into his own the moment he had the first major microfacture surgery (1997). That year before that when he switched to SG and was great in the Miami series and the first two games of the 97-98 season we saw the player he could be. His assists with Shaq were often diltured by the fact people fouled Shaq at the basket too. His defense was a little sus but he got better and maybe he would dissappear later in certain games but when he was on and healthy no one was fukking with him
And his shoes were fire too and still are
