It didn't get it's props back then but I was bumpin it hard boy senior year in 98'. "How Ya Livin" and "I'm know" also the Half of Mil joint was hard. It wasn't better than his debut but it was a solid sophomore. I think fans were upset with the whole Firm/Trackmasters sound at that point that they hated on this but it is fire.

I admit, I've always overlooked this album and gravitated towards his others. Been a minute since I went through my AZ Discography

I'm mad that you linked the whole album track by track via Youtube.

But yeah, it was cool. I always thought 'What's The Deal' was a massively slept on single that shoulda done much better than it did.

Also it mighta helped for it not to be delayed for almost a year (due to EMI Records folding). It was due in summer '97, the video for "Hey AZ" was out, and then they folded- shyt took until April '98 to drop.

Classic album. I saw an AZ interview where he said this was his favorite album of his. This is also my favorite AZ album and one of my favorite hip-hop albums in general.

My 3rd favorite AZ album after Doe Or Die and Aziatic

SOSA :banderas:
Payback :ohlawd:
How Ya Livin :whew:

Even the light tracks like What's The Deal and Last Dayz sound smooth :obama:

I literally just listened to this album last week while at work. Had not listened to the whole thing in years.

Held up hella nice. Real lyricism is never dated.:salute:
