The rap game needs the Dungeon Family to reassemble, brehs.

OutKast, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, Future (sans the drug shyt), Witchdoctor, Big Rube, etc.

shyt, even throw Badu in there.
How is Future related to DF?

He's Rico Wade's fam and used to spend time in the Dungeon.

He's Dungeon Family. It's crazy when you think about the shyt that nikka raps about.

Future in his early DF days:

Breh can actually rap.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
i don't think dre was talking about big, but big was definitely talking about dre. nikka even called his own subliminals.

"congratulations I'm a player, i thought you were one too but now i hear you loud and clear, subliminal. "

then he pleading with breh to come back to rap.

"decipher words just like the code of DaVinci, don't go against me (cain), i want you to go out there and kill them marks so come back is you with me? "

cain as in cain and able.

Those last lines were a double entendre....

He was also referring to Kane from Menace to Society when he was in the car about to do a drive by

yeah he originally got put on by rico as a member of da connect. name was "Meathead".

then bubba sparxxx tried to put him on before he fell into drugs. he had signed cool breeze too.
. Me & Rico Wade got Meathead coming from Kirkwood in Atlanta, he'll be on Dungeon Family / New South!

A lot of people don't know this but Future was in the studio during their hey day. (He's related to Mr Dj)

They even gave him the name Future. Because of the music he was making

That's your weird fact of the day :heh;

The Dungeon Family feature they did about 3-4 years ago confirmed that they were throwing shots at each other on Mighty O.

LA Reid's book also confirmed that they sat down with him after Stankonia and told him they were no longer going to record together. Speakerboxx/Love below was originally a Big Boi solo album, Andre called up LA three weeks before it was supposed to drop and asked him if he recorded his own solo album and packaged it with Big's would it be possible. LA told him he had three weeks to turn the album in because Big wasn't willing to wait. Andre recorded Love Below in THREE WEEKS:damn:

Interesting.

3k's side of the album is arguably what got them the Grammy.

First and presumably the last rap album to win Grammy for Album of the Year was cranked out in three weeks! :blessed:

personally i was underwhelmed by it as essentially a return to root with both of them rapping together and the onp produced track. they killed it, but the song overall would be toward the bottom of their catalog. dre said around the time that he didnt like his verse but everyone else did so he ran with it. i dont necessarily think you can be as disjointed as they became in recording then come back and recapture the magic. i thought idlewild was a solid collection of songs as a soundtrack, but one of the areas it failed is it didnt have the direction of an outkast album and it felt forced. they used the same separate recording process as the previous album and threw everything together on one disc.

i would have loved to get a verse from dre on the train and put that out as a single. even without it, i love that song and pj & rooster, those would have been the 1st singles for me.

Once I knew they were throwing shots at each other I knew that it was possibly the last time that I ever heard Dre and Big Boi do a real album together.
