Old launch PS3 took a dive.
Had to buy a new one.
Thanks to this thread I chose the 500GB white model that comes with a year subscription to Playstation Plus.
I'm putting them 500GB to work brehs.

I just got PSPlus.....alot of those games aren't showing up as free for me. Did I miss out on them?

minus the fact that Playstation 4 isn't gonna have a big enough library for a while to really be giving games away. they'll probably keep that gimped Drive Club on there for months and all the other games will be small indie games.

I finally caved in to Plus the other day. Besides all the E3 happenings, they have Deus Ex for free right now, and I've been wanting that game, so went in for a year. The one thing it made me do was finally upgrade my HD.
I caught it just in time too, as Infamous 2 was just about to come off the free list. Didn't have enough space when I went to DL it, but it added it to my download list. Copped a 750gb drive for $60 (still got my 80gb backwards compatible Fat), installed it, and was ready to go. First order of business was to re-download The Show. Then grabbed both Infamous games (got the first for free for when the PSN got hacked) and Deus Ex. Unrelated to Plus, thanks to the new HD I was able to cop The Last if Us digitally also.
I also added Uncharted 3 and X-Com to my DL list as well. Already have physical of UC3, and may never play X-Com, but free is free
I'll probably do that wit most of the free offerings, whether I want 'em or not.
