been a plus-er since day 1 and i have at least 30 games on my hd i havent even launched...

if they extend this shyt to the video side?

Yeah, I was thinking they should extend it to the video side. At the very least, I think Sony could even put an added optional price mark up on the cost of PSN+ for the video side portion. Obviously, it'd be even more piffery if they did it w/o raising the fist at all, but if it was reasonably priced and the movie line up was solid enough (their line up for newy released films is >>> Netflix streaming for sure) and streamed in good quality, it'd definitely be worth a look.

There isn't much of an incentive to them doing a video discount with PS+.

Paying to download a movie/TV show is a hard sell. But even if you're into that, why not buy it through Amazon? Its carries over to more than just PS3s, and for some movies on their site, they give you access to it on their instant service.

But the real question is...

Why not just download it via other resources?

I think to be able to stream all their movies would be an incentive, especially if priced competitively (even if only as an introductory system, a la Music Unlimited holiday sale). Their selection has a lot of newly released content much earlier than most other pay-for-services (remember, Sony owns movie studios).

Breh if they did that... Netflix would be finished :wow:

Not really, unless they made their service available outside of the ps3. Even then, it wouldn't kill Netflix, but would definitively dig into their pockets cuz I reckon within time, a lot of ps3 owners would drop Netflix for Sony's service if it were cheaper.

Sony has the one biggest music collection, music collection, and game collection under their umbrella. The day they utilize all of this is the day they start making real profit for past, present and future collections . Netflix collection has nothing on sonys. And they rival any streaming music company. Lastly they dominate the game catalogue.

I have a question about the instant game save uploading feature. When you set a time for it to do this, what happens when the system is off at that time? Or does it just take the current game saves that were on the system at the time you specify for it to do that?

Another thing... is there a way to see all the free games that are available for PS+?

I saw the stuff listed in the PS Store, is that it? I'm talking about themes, avis and all that too.
