Decision was reversed and the rockers would never again attain the tag titles.

The Hart foundation would rule the tag division for another 5 months, until they lose the belts and bret begins his legendary singles run

Why was the decision reversed? Was it that lame ass "the person pinned was not the legal man" crap they'd always pull, especially in WCW the Saturday Night show before a PPV?

It was taped for SNME, 2 out of 3 falls. During the 2nd fall the top rope broke and the ref in the ring didn't know to just stop the match and fix the rope, thus the rest of the match was a complete mess. Since the match was taped, they decided to not air the match thus never acknowledging the title change and the fans were deprived of what would have been the greatest tag team title run in history.

That's super bogus. I'm shocked they didn't move forward with the title change tho. I guess the Rockers got punished for that one

Part of it was that Anvil was supposed to be leaving the company. Well before they could redo the match Anvil reupped or worked out his situation with the WWF so they kept the titles on the Harts.
