I don't think he was ever in possession of these military grade weapons, those are what they used to set him up
I think he just had regular fire arms in the house and silencers, which is still enough to put him in jail because he is a felon and silencers are illegal in georgia

Possession is a strong, contentious word inside and outside of the legal realm, which is why I brought up the constructive possession legal argument. Possession is also different from ownership. I think a strong argument could be made that neither applied to TIP as is pertains to the military grade weapons.
However, as another poster mentioned, I don't think entrapment could be applied to TIP here, but it could be applied to his bodyguard. And again, I still don't know if entrapment is even a viable legal argument at the FED level.
