This is the epitome of a god damn club banger. Can we talk about how damn great this whole era was.

Timbo killing everything in sight in R&B AND hip hop with Ginuwine, Missy Elliot, etc.

Aaliyah producing the best vibes of any artist ever.

This song was the first song to reach #1 on the charts solely due to the strength of its airplay.:blessed:

GOAT:salute:

waiting for some wacky moron to come in here like "Timbaland overrated", "Timbaland not hip hop", etc :mjlol:

Aaliyah's music and her vibe in general had me sprung for real. Imagine seeing and hearing "We Need A Resolution" for the first time when it debuted.

Ol girl with the flying tunnel chair and the snakes.... I was sitting there like WHAT IS THIS!?

Aaliyah was making GOAT dance videos during her era

Besides Janet, no black chick was really making big budget videos like this combined with the dancing during this time.

She always had dope ass videos

So imagine in 2015 what kinda shyt would she be on visually + musically....

We Need a Resolution beat is amazing.

i can't hear Try Again without thinking of my first girlfriend back when i was 12/13 who was a dancer and gymnast doing her little routines to that song and the Mya joint where she's out in the desert with the metal poles.

honestly though, i never gave a fukk about Aaliyah's music while a lot of people i knew fawned over her..i thought she was good looking but i never payed attention to her music like that and when i went back to it i thought it was just alright.

i have one random song of hers on my ipod and it was...
