This was inspired by @cotdamnyamanprof ludicrous statement in the Raw thread stating Roman gets Xpac heat 
First off, Reigns is only hated on by sweaty mid 20s-40s sweaty pimply neck beard cacs because it's the "cool" thing to do. Bu...bu...but G.O.D II so is Cena. True. But Cena is a grown man who wears Jorts, cereal shirts, and is an all around goofball. Plus, he never loses a feud. Rock, Austin, hell even Hoegan all had matches where they lost and never came got the win back. I can honestly say Cena has defeated every person he's feuded with in the end(including AJ which is happening) It's reasonable why he receives boos. Now Reigns has received a Cena push, but he's isn't Cena in anyway. He's not going over Edges and Jerichos like butter the way Cena did during his rise. Naw
Now, there are two reasons why these sweats hate on Roman and it honestly has nothing to do with him
1) Ever since the OG messiah of bearded faces, Punk, outed him as the chosen one, fans have gone ape shyt. He's a corporate pick and these nerds still live in the glory days of Austin Kayfabe.Now every big star has some way been the chosen guy. Hulk, Rock, Austin, Cena, Batista, etc weren't just organically chosen by fans. You may think that. But they were subtly booked in a way to give the perception they were. Which leads me to my next point
2) Vince/WWE has booked him horribly. First, trying to have him take face pops off a returning Bryan last year(the one guy besides Punk who the fans forced the FO hand) was truly foolish. I understand the reasoning but still, that hurt Roman. They also been trying to force all types of characters on him. Is he Cena, Test, Sid, etc? They should have let him be himself (which I think is a suave Nash character) like the other chosen stars mentioned above. They kind of let him do that recently but it may take a while.
Now. The fact is Roman is a solid worker. He's an athletic big man who can move well. He's improved tremendously since he came up. Good matches with Rollins. Bray. Owens. The last solid Brock match was with Reigns. Sure sure those are good workers. But compared to IWC darling Dean, Reigns has had much better chemistry then all of them. Reigns honestly has the potential to be the best big men since Bigelow and Awesome. His promos are borderline bad but it's not cringe. Uhhh this is long as fukk. Simple fact is, Reigns doesn't deserve nearly half the hate he gets
