If the whole series was called that way....that's one thing. But right when the Mavs were about to put the clamps down and go up 3-0, everything magically changed. Donaghy has spoken on this.

If you can’t point out illegitimate fouls being called then . Nothing remotely controversial about their game 3 comeback. The heat blew them out in game 4, and the most controversial call of the series that came in overtime in game 5 was an obvious foul where dirk grabbed wade on the arm just above the elbow.
