She didn't have the gravitas to play storm. Storm needs to project power. not just with CGi or looks. But with her voice too.
Its why everyone agrees if angela bassett was still young, she would have been the dream casting for storm.
Need a women that commands authority. Over man, and the elements.
She was miscast, like casting a dude with high pitched voice to play thor. Doesn't match up.

She would be great. But honestly and i know this is shallow. But i need storm to be attractive too.
Cynthia Erivo is at least top 3 black beautys in Hollywood. Plus she’ll be comic accurate it would be perfect casting.
