I see you mama. Instead of tomato sauce add fixins make an actual pizza sauce, throw some cheese, some veggies and some meat and you got yourself a Chicago style deep dish.

I always thought deep dish pizza was overrated
like I remember when I tried Uno's Pizzeria years ago I wasn't impressed by the taste of the sauce and there was barely any cheese.

Uno's is (consider Chicago's gold standard) is the only reason why people think of Chicago and Pizza in the same sentence because other wise Chicago isn't even known for pizza.Somehow we've gone from Chicago only has deep dish to people posting different types of pizza, including one served in only one place in the city.
