I remember I thought it was the dopest thing ever as a kid. I remember when we finally got a copy for our NES we couldn't play during the week, but we begged our mom to just let us watch the intro because it was so good
So many questions left unanswered: why was Ryu's dad dressed in pink? who was that black ninja, what the heck is a walter smith?

I know right, we could only play on weekends, then it was we could only have guest over during daylight hour and growing up in western new york the sun went down at like 5pm in the winter. I remember my cuz was like how he's gonna laugh in the summer when the summer is out til 9pm.... of course the rule got changed then

They had the arcade machine at a corner store near my house. I used to go up there with no money and just stand and watch that intro. The cutscene after you died was brutal too.
