It's not like hospitals turned away emergency room clients before hand...but if you are operating a business you should have the right to monetize it IMO.

I dont see why healthcare should be a private business. Its not a private business in the rest of the world and people having access to prevenative healthcare and living healthy is a positive economic and public policy outcome.

Why should national defense be run by the gov for free? Why dont we all pay cash along with our tax dollars? Americans already pay way more per capita for healthcare in tax dollars than any other country, including some that garuntee free healthcare

It didn't cripple profit margins it increased profit margins. More people are going to the doctor. Let's remember why we did an overhaul on healthcare: everybody was fukking complaining about the system. You have hallucinations, extreme migraines, concussion like symptoms in a chronic and frequent manner and you get a fukkin Tylenol and sent home. You didn't get a fukkin CT scan or MRI. Insurance companies were fukking people. That's what do. They had bean counters making medical decisions
