De La Soul Is Dead is a flat out classic amongst classics. It's as good as any Tribe album too.

I prefer Low End Theory but both are undeniable classics. Peoples Instinctive Travels is a bit underrated simply because it's overshadowed by those two albums.

People Instinctive is a flat out classic. That album was bigger upon its release then Midnight Marauders was. It made a way bigger splash.

I was on some Tribe marathon music listening session the other week actually, you can just listen to the instrumentals and be good too.....

I love midnight Marauders, but after listening to it all week, it is still not as fluid and perfect as Low End Theory. I would give Low End Theory 5/5 and Midnight Marauders 4.75/5..Just my opinion

I prefer 3 Feet high and Rising to De La Soul Is Dead..both great, but that first album just does it for me

I love De la Soul is Dead, but its an acquired listen and as a whole doesn't make a lot of sense if its your first De la Album. Speaking of De la, did anyone bump that First Serve album they dropped this year? Perfect summer album.
