DJ Mustards shyt don't sound shyt like the L.A sound. I can post hella bay area shyt from 5 years ago that sound like some DJ Mustard shyt. That ratchet music is just an offshoot of the Hyphy movement just like crumping was. The Bay never followed L.A but L.A certainly is following the Bay right now. Even YO Gotti said when he heard the beat to Act Right it made him feel like the Bay which is why he based it around the bay. He didn't say it sounded like an L.A beat.

Any honest rap fan can tell Mustards shyt is Bay Area influenced. It damn sure ain't L.A influenced.
