yeah it kinda does. from the agents that are in your ear early, the coaches that can vouch for or market a guy, the type of talent they develop, and the continuous deficiencies of a program as well... its definitely a factor

i mean shyt, teams will immediately dismiss a syracuse player's defense to this day because of what they do as a team. brogdon went as low as he did because uva plays a certain kind of basketball as well. etc
