The problem is more that the heel side for the women on Smackdown have no all around wrestlers. They are either good character / bad in the ring or Natalya's case, good worker / bad character / personality.

This. She is a great wrestler, and can mimic her dad's mannerisms, but when it comes time to show she is her own person, she is a woman, she has her own strengths and flaws, etc. there is NO CHARISMA there at all. Think of a moment during this face run where she has either smiled, laughed or looked genuinely happy and you related to it just a LITTLE bit. It hasn't happened. She needs to work on alot of things away from the in-ring side of wrestling if she wants to be able to be effectively deployed in a role that isn't cold emotionless HEEL.
