Yes, I threw SHAQ in there. The same Shaq that shytted on teammates and called out teammates, feuded with Kobe, went at the Kings and all other big men in the media... yeah, THAT Shaq. He's an @sshole, or was as a player. I don't think it's a coincidence that when Shaq stopped with all of the rap albums and movies and goofiness is the time frame they won those titles. :yeshrug:

There's a reason why certain players end up with the "right team" around them. Kevin Durant had the "right team" around him in 2012, that team just came up short.

Shaq was always affable and fun though. He was never an antisocial a$$hole even when they were winning. Talking shyt about other teams, which he admitted was to ramp up interest, doesn't make you antisocial. He was still friendly with other players. As a matter of fact the only guy that you listed that wasn't all buddy buddy with the opposition was Bird.

It is a coincidence that he stopped all the rap albums and movies around the same time that Mike and all the great bigs of the time either retired or became :flabbynsick: and every superstar but he and Kobe was stuck on an island.

Durant had the right team and ran into a better team with a better player who has a similar buddy buddy personality and ran right through "right attitude" Kobe in the process.

I miswrote. I didn't mean antisocial a$$hole. I should have written antisocial or an a$$hole.

And really, the more I think about it, my whole sentiment could have been wrong. What I really should have said is being obsessed with winning the championship isn't a BAD thing, and Kevin Durant should probably keep that attitude. People who are obsessed with achieving a certain thing (and usually those people are antisocial, or a$$holes, or both) are usually the ones who end up with that success.

Let's be real here, the Thunder are in that dangerous area where they had their shot in the sun, failed for whatever reason and now everything will slowly trickle downwards from here. The past 2 years they were a contender for the West....this year they're no more than a 5th seed IMO
LAST Year. They dont have a 3rd man anymore.

They went from having Jeff Green, Harden, Durant, Russ....to Harden, Durant, Russ.....to Kevin Martin, Durant, Russ....to just Durant, injured Russ.
