i thought he was the best pg prospect in the draft due to him playing professionally and getting such a hard co sign from one of the goats, larry brown. the only thing he is missing is a consistent jumper but that can be fixed. everything else is nba ready.

Reminds me when paul and deron came out not saying they'll be on that same level out the gate but u can't go wrong with either...

We have seen Russell perform vs the highest talent in the NCAA....

For Mudiay, we have highlight clips of him cracking up other PGs from Sweeden? Japan? Local YMCA?

That was the issue with Mudiay all along, no one could gauge his talent correctly because we didn't even know the people he was playing against.

Some of us on the coli would look decent if we submitted videos of us playing ball at the local gym on Thursday nights... doesn't mean we can do that same shyt vs other top college players in the country.

One of the main reasons Russell's draft stock shot through the roof is his ability to run a team and his ability to create for others

come one fam, he played in the chinese basketball association. the talent level is closer to teams in the euroleague than the ymca. he wasn't playing against scrubs over there.

I am telling you what GMs were saying all week up to the draft. They said they had no idea who he was playing against so they couldnt judge him correctly. I have no doubt him and Rusell be great PGs for 10+ years, but Russel was the safer pick.

All I know is i cant wait for the season, its going to be a good one
