Well with all my tech purchases I try to future proof myself for a good amount of time,
I'm trying to get like 3 years of top setting of the most intensive games...I really think steam box missed a niche...I would of gladly hopped on that until I saw there were like 8 different steam boxes....it should have been only one.

Shid I spent like $860 on my current rig back in 2010 and still going strong. I could use a new video card and some RAM tho.

good for possibly 5 years. There's no way a PC built today wouldn't be able to destroy games for 5 years at that price. Secondly you wouldn't even need to spend all that money to play PC games at high settings. There's "high" "Ultra" and then "ENTHUSIAST!" settings. The cats spending $1000 aren't doing so to play at 1080P. Some of these dudes got two to three monitor setups running at 1080P or higher per screen AND they want 60-120fps on top of that.

even though all the main games on xbox and ps4 are on PC but have way more customization, controls, graphics, players and community?
All the games I get I don't have to worry about if my console can run it since they are all optimized for it

Console fits in nice with TV/entertainment area.

and I havnt updated my computer in awhile
As an owner of a PC with a GTX 780, a Wii U, an Xbox One, and a Playstation 4 let it be said that this whole PC master race console peasant nonsense is garbage. You don't have to pick a side you can have which ever you want or have them all.
what?? Please tell me the release dates of Elder Scrolls Online(biggest RPG release of 2014) for PC and then tell me the release dates for it for PS4 and Xbox 1

Hyperbole, much? Not every game is 720p 30fps, and even at settings not every game looks or plays bad. Either way you missed and will continue to miss out some dope console and handheld exclusives
