I mostly don't trust 'the pill'.

Women forget for like a day or two, and fukk around and end up pregnant.

I've never been with a women that did any other type of birth control (IUD, rings, etc) so I can't speak on those.

I seriously believe thats why women in their late 30's have a hard time conceiving. After taking horomones for 15+ yrs it drastically changes the body and does mean stuff to it.

The pill is like 99.999+% effective if taken properly, which means never missing a dose and taking it around the same time every day. A lot women aren't mature enough to keep that schedule though and end up pregnant. My girl takes hers religiously and i've never worn a condom in about 5 years. *Knock on wood*
