Americas Most Wanted is classic...the rest I ain't mad at somebody saying ain't unquestionable classics,I say Doggfood is but 2001 is one the fence to me but I must admit my expectations goin in may have been higher than almost any album ever much like detox woulda been...its too many other west coast albums that don't get acknowledged as classics that I think are better than Doggfood and 2001 that I ain't even trippin.

Can you prove this?

What groundbreaking hip hop are on there like "Mass Appeal" from Gang Starr? Something that can be played forever.

What other albums did it influence? Or did it take
influence from Public Enemy and just do a bad job of copying?

Please. I own this CD, give me a reason to go back to it.

"nikka ya love to hate" used as a reference many times in verses such as Eminem on "renegade".. "Once upon a time in the projects" was storytelling at its finest and re-done by redman on docs da name... "Gangstas fairytales" concept was bitten numerous times from artists ranging from coolio to redman to beanie sigel..

Redman's biggest influence for Whut Thee Album was Amerikkas Most Wanted..

Now tell me how much influence and impact CNN and Smif n Wessuns classic albums had on hip hop :shaq2:

It was hands down the best album (along with People's Instinctive) that year. It sent NWA scrambling back to the drawing board and they ended up dropping a goofy second record then imploding.

It was a scorcher of an album. I get you're doing your little half troll thing but if you're around my age you know the impact this album had. Oh, and it got 5 mics when the source was about something too.

First (and still the only I think) west coast artist to get 5 mics when it was first reviewed. Not some revisionist bullshyt

Nope, I agree with him.

And the White man is the DEVIL.

That CD had one of the greatest releases ever, and it literally struck while the iron is hot. And song #2 flowed after the intro so dope. It had people so hyped up. I clearly remember that shyt. It was summertime, it was hot, and it had a movement.

Did those songs survive?

NO.
