Material possessions aren't worth shooting people over. Again you keep proving that your more concerned with retribution/revenge then you are with protecting yourself.

Exactly. Guns are for protection in my mind. That means someone else has to be the aggressor in order for me to use my gun. People in this thread make it out like I'm looking to kill someone. Like I'm actively trolling people into robbing me or harming my family. If someone attacks or threatens me, then I am justified to use my weapon. Its that simple. Don't know why some of these dudes cant understand that. Maybe they just don't value their lives, family, or possessions as much as me. Or maybe they think this world is less violent and malice than reality.

Let's talk about actual gun control and not imaginary movie scenes that you've put yourselves in. Let's talk about how America has the worst gun violence out of any 1st world country. Let's talk about how Switzerland's, Japan's, and United Kingdom gun control model won't work in America because our culture is VERY different. The only model that could probably work in the United States is Canada's.

just like you I don't want anyone causing harm on me and my family. We are not trigger happy, we just want our families safe from potential devils out there. It's cool if you wanna argue not possessing guns, i get that, but don't tell me just cuz I desire to possess a gun that I want to protect my family, that I'm feeding my ego, or i'm afraid, insecure, scared, p*ssy, etc.. etc... Human beings have possessed weapons since the beginning of time, even when it wasn't necessary atm, It is part of our survival.

I'm protecting myself, my family, and my possession. I'm an immigrant who lived in the slums for the first 7 years I lived in this country. I've seen it from both sides. For the last 14 years I've lived in a nice town. The surrounding areas aren't so nice though. Maybe its an ego thing. But I think its more of a cultural thing. Im from Russia. Its in my blood. Russia doesn't have issues with guns. I know the responsibility it takes to own one. I know what I have to do to protect myself and my family. In this day and age people stoop to low levels. I want to make sure that if need be, I can protect myself against any threat. If that means pulling a gun and using it, so be it. I'm not going to risk my life just so someone else doesnt get shot. fukk that.

ok and my solution is if its that serious

it should take atleast year before you are able to buy and register your gun

think about it
its harder to get and maintain your driver's license in America
then it is to buy and register a gun
