ok and my solution is if its that serious

it should take atleast year before you are able to buy and register your gun

think about it
its harder to get and maintain your driver's license in America
then it is to buy and register a gun

and thats why some of us choose the black market route..Even if you banned guns in there entirety, Humans are gonna possess arms whether we like it or not, Supply and Demand

I'll also point out that a shot to the kneecap could be fatal

and again, that is a very small moving target

You aint coming in MY HOUSE and taking 1,000's of dollars worth of stuff I worked hard for me and my family and getting a way with it. :childplease:

What type of world yall cats live in :wow:

In my opinion a shot to your kneecap for breaking in my house, scaring my family and stealing 1,000's of dollars worth of stuff is an even exchange don't you think. :ld:

Insurance is cheaper safer and more effective at keeping your possessions. If your stuff is worth killing someone over, it's worth insuring.

Less legal guns=less illegal guns.

All black market guns were once legal guns. Reduce the amount of legal guns in America you reduce the amount of illegal guns.

The black market right now for guns is a joke. Guns are legal, thus prices are not artificially inflated like they are in black markets for drugs. An eighth of chronic costs 60$ in the inflated black market, when in reality it should be 5$ if that. Imagine if a pistol was like 10grand.

they would be much rarer and expensive. not to mention how also banning ammo would effect things

I am with you on the fact it should be harder to get guns. In my state you need a clean record, training classes and to pass a test. Not saying its all that hard but there are requirements. Im all for training and not handing them out like candy, but at the same time, dont ban my protection tools.

i think of it as america being a skyscraper with 236 year old foundations and framework that has some surface changes and nothing more.

all these scenarios these dudes are using are set up for their success while disregarding the very real scenario of shyt going to shyt. Let's talk about actual gun control and not imaginary movie scenes that you've put yourselves in. Let's talk about how America has the worst gun violence out of any 1st world country. Let's talk about how Switzerland's, Japan's, and United Kingdom gun control model won't work in America because our culture is VERY different. The only model that could probably work in the United States is Canada's.

:snoop::heh: @ some of the rambo shyt some of you nikkas are talking about

We've been discussing this...:wtb:

the thing is if you talk about banning guns on a general level, then the debate will ALWAYS trickle down to what if this and what if that on an individual level

just yesterday in this thread you were advocating people should be able to have whatever weapons they can afford. it's an argument that most 'pro-gun' folks wouldn't even attempt

Yall are missing the damn point. you don't know if the person in YOUR home has a weapon or not that may prove to be fatal. Who gives a phuck about possessions when there is an immediate threat in your home.

The person is IN YOUR HOME violating your own personal sense of freedom and security (protected by the Constitution).

If you can't feel safe within the walls of your home where are you gonna feel safe at :damn:

:beli: no dude there's been few discussions and more individual levels of bullshyt movie scenarios. quite frankly the pro gun individual responses are :heh: at best.
for example meach asked someone what would they do if the intruder already came into the house with a gun pointed at the poster and the poster instead of addressing said scenario ignored it and painted another scenario of them busting his guns as soon as they heard a noise. :ld:

these dudes jump through a window duel-wielding pistols and hit a moving target in the back of the kneecap

and then there's reality...
