It is a good movie.
it just flopped, and people connect flopping to quality.
plus, it gives and insight to the characters, that were needed.
people just were not feeling sailors or kid fantasy in those times.
as, that Gen kinda jettisoned any moral pieces.
or, any pieces that were not shrouded in nineties over the top violence, and attempts to be real.
