But fukk it....The Sixers might have gotten their ass whooped the rest of the series but, AI gave LA their only asswhooping all playoffs. Something no team from the West could say

They damn near won Game 2 too. And Robert Horry had to hit a three to clinch one of those games in Philly. It's not as though LA just blew them out every night after the first game. Loved that team/season.

But it says alot that they blew through everybody out West and AI was the only one to give them a loss

That game really cemented his greatness for me, despite them losing 4-1. That Laker squad was scary and 5'11 160 Iverson handed them an L on their home court. Much respect.

Thats in my top 5 for sure, maybe top 3. It was a legacy saving performance.

I hold AI's performance in such high regard because that was real life David/Goliath. Lakers in the midst of their great run, swept through the West and my man came out to Hollywood with his crew and dropped 48 for the W they lost 4-1 and 16 years later we still talk about the 1 win more than the whole series
