Never seen this topic being brought up. I think the closest I've seen is the infiltration of rap music in the booth. I get where you're coming from, but its annoying to see quality stuff go to shyt when its taken over by other people. I was just playing watch dogs 2 and thought about that when that first track came on.

For example remember when we pioneered electro/house? That shyt had soul, rhythm, swag, and balance
How did we let some folks...take over and go from that to.....this
This is a bAd example, as we basically disowned the music pretty early on. It only had strong black following in local pockets. Black people nationally and internationally didn't embrace house music like that.
