Spurs looked great last night, Had KD & Westbrook frustrated.

They always get a good shot on offense.

And its not "screens" its called running an offense.

If the Spurs are so boring, Please tell me what it was that the Thunder were doing last night that was so exciting?

They were never "boring". Or at least not any more boring than the rest of the league at the time. That was just an excuse used after people already decided they weren't gonna watch the Spurs...

David Stern just failed to market that team...that was a bad decision.

Stern doesn't know how to market "teams"

He only knows how to market superstars. TD is not very marketable in that regard. Even my mom who knows zero about basketball saw Tim the other day and was surprised he was still in the league and remarked that he seems boring.

it was a lazy sportswriter cliche as they dont understand basketball but get personalities.

The Spurs are way more exciting than any of these Lakers teams but because they dont have "swag" and dont play in a big market, they got the boring tag.

lol at moms...

But yeah. Thats pretty much it. Stern doesn't know how to market teams, Tim Duncan wasn't gonna be "that guy" and so they pretty much wasted millions of dollars worth of marketing potential for the Spurs.

Coach Pop could...and should be the NBA's answer to Belicheck. Diabolical cac genius. :beli: Plus with Tebow and Jeremy Lin we see that clean cut wholesome bullsh!t can go a long way in sports...

N!ggas wouldve really hated that team. Instead we just really hated Kobe... :manny:

Yup. The NBA could have marketed them as the dark dynasty. They wear black, they had the dirtiest player in the game (Bowen), the biggest flopper in the game (Ginobili) and their coach is an a$$hole.
