Even though they mentioned Mozgov is a factor when considering Kyrie's defensive improvement. He's not being sold as lockdown, very few point guards are. He's just hustling, fighting through screens, forcing turnovers.

Which is pretty much all defense is...effort. The principles of defense are pretty simple, it's just a matter of executing consistently which is not easy.
