I've been thinking about doing this to get a new job(nothing major, just a bartending gig). I don't have any bartending experience though so people wont hire me. I'm thinking about using a friend as a reference and just telling him to say we worked at a bar together for a year!

I feel like scum doing this but the economy fukking sucks and you needs experience/education to do even the most bullshyt jobs.

You will look foolish in the interview when they start asking questions

Edit: Disregard. I thought this was for like a complex job or something.

stretching the truth a little bit don't hurt anyone.

Just make sure you are smart about it.

lol at me caring about the feelings of a company. If you are desperate for a job don't do it. If you are not roll the dice :yeshrug:

I say go on youtube, watch some bartending videos and pray you get it.
Half of it is confidence. You'll be fine.

I don't blame you. You're a college student times are tough. Just read up on as much as you can and make a good first impression, you'll be good.

I haven't ever done that. Not for moral reasons, I just can't get caught in a lie, like a child. :scusthov:

We've all been there, man. No judgment from me... as a tip, sometimes if you forget what's in what cocktail, just ask: How do you like that served?

Most people throw lil lies in their resume. That's why it's hard as hell to stand out. I'm bout to start lying even more.
