running back was a need at the time. and they also used every other pick on defensive players. Cameron Jordan was picked before Mark Ingram.

and the 3rd round pick of that draft, LB Martez Wilson, won the Chargers game for them this year and has been playing well.

RB was need

Reggie was hurt and leaving.
Ivory was hurt and couldn't catch.
PT23 miss a couple of games.

Didn't know we were landing Sproles.

Have to get one.

I will hold off Mark Ingram criticism til he get a full offseason with Sean Payton. Sean design the plays and will give Mark more variations in the offense. Basically, right now,he used for one damn play. I Form dive to the 1 hole.

so true at running that same play. and thats why I keep saying if you're going to keep using him for that one play they might as well use Ivory who is the bruiser out of the 5 running backs on the roster. at least Ingram gives the threat of using him on a screen but it seems with Sean P being gone that part of the playbook has gone missing.

He could be used more than dive in the middle.

The problem with Ingram is that he has one gear. If he was shifty as hell then he could overcome that, but he isn't that shifty and gets tackled easier than I thought.

he reminds me a lot of reggie when i watch him. he aint hitting the hole. he's pushing it and isn't patient then PT will get a run and he hits the hole at the right time gets 5 yards. same thing that happened with Reggie. Idk if its cuz he doesnt have a rhythm or cuz the D knows he's running when he's in. It can be fixed tho maybe not in NO but it can be fixed
