I caught missningno and fukked my game up 
OT but I remember going through an entire fukking cave in one of the pokemon games with NO flashlight. this was before I was internet saavy and had shyt like strategy guides...you know, the days of do it yourself? well I didn't know I was supposed to find and use some flashlight, so I went through the whole fukkin cave in the pitch black
it took me like 3 days to make it through. to this day, I still don't understand how I made it. I was happy as hell when Gary rolled up on me tryna battle cuz I knew the exit was near

I used to do the rare candy trick for all my Pokemon...but your Pokemon were weak as fukk if you fought someone with a legit lvl99 one..
One of my friends used to fukk up 4-5 of my Pokemon with his one Rydon that he got to lvl99 with no rare candy

Also had a hack where i could duplicate pokemon... if you where mid trade between two gameboys and you pulled out the link cable at the right time it just made an additional copy. Between that, missigno and all the items i had maxed out i was simply unfukkwitable. Beat the shyt out of gary punk ass and all the gym leaders.
Cheating in a video game has never made me feel so accomplished
