This is an Internet forum, so I know we have a lot of introvert types on this board, but people, WE MUST NETWORK. For some, networking comes natural. It's really people out here networking on accident
For others, networking may be more of a task or a job. Regardless, it must be done to advance professional careers, but networking is so much deeper than that.

Nothing better than messing with a chic on some "professional" shyt and it slow but surely turning into you smashing. And you wanted to smash the whole time

It's not enough to get people's contact info; you need to check in every once in a while to keep the lines of communication open and to maintain that contact. I know this is tough for some people, but it must be done. You just can't pop up after 8 months of no contact looking for some type of favor or hook up

You might have to do some shyt that might not be fun to you. I know this independent rapper down here that's always trying to get me to come to his shows. I make sure I hit one every ow and then because he know a lot of important people. On some corporate shyt, you might have to go golfing or some shyt. Definitely hit the Christmas parties and volunteer events if you work corporate.
It's not all about you. Sometimes you may not be able to help yourself, but you can link up other people in your network who can help each other. This buys good will from both parties in the future.
