There’s this older lady I help with stuff around her house & do her yard sometimes when she needs help. We got into a conversation & she started to spill to me how her house is paid off, & her daughter never comes to see her. Just straight cut her off & hasn’t talked to her in years never even invited her to the wedding.
And at first I felt a little bad. But then I remember a neighborhood family friend whose a little older with had some aint shyt parents. Always sabotaging him. Always telling him he too dumb to do this or do that. Neglectful. I remember him getting put out at 18 on some “well now it’s on you boy”
type shyt. Fast forward now there near retirement age & didnt save shyt so they wanna stick with him. He hit them with the “ well now its on you boy
” type shyt. They were salty about that trying to shame him. His father died recently and on his FB it was all types of “he was a good guy” type stuff from his church. He & the mom became the 4-5 days a week church going types later in life (after a life of drinking + partying all night and neglecting him). The church comments all had nice things to say.
Knew a PAWG who had mens in & out the casa….& a couple touched her. When she spoke up the mother said she was lying to keep the men around. When she got older, she moved out & never talked to her again. Now she’s going around telling people she don’t know why her kid abandoned her.
Then it made me think. What did this lady do for her daughter to just delete her out her life?
She seems like a nice lady though. Keyword seems.
But I can’t help but think….for your kid to cut you off just like that…you musta did some fukk shyt
Not saying some kids just literally aint shyt, but I know a lot of people whose parents aint shyt either. And that aint the first time I heard about this.
Also, anyone noticed how they become more religious as they got older?…atleast the aint shyt ones.
Maybe all these people aren’t just these sweet defenseless older people & their kids cut em off for a reason….
