So I went to church on Sunday and the Pastor started talking about how one of the church members was in an accident and whatnot. He asked the the congregation to say a prayer for the person and their family. When he said that I had the :patrice: look going on. My question to yall is I'd god loves us(humanity) so much why do we need to pray for ole boy? Will my prayers mean more than his loved ones prayers? Is my prayer the one thats going to tilt the scale in his favor?:patrice: We shouldn't have to pray for his good health. Shouldn't that be a no brainer? We certainly don't want him to die. Idk. It's :dwillhuh: status to me.
My bad for the thread derail, but to answer your question. You just need to go to a church with more power, so your prays are answered.

If you believe in God you wouldn't question. Seems like you are going through a transition like me. For real and not trolling just find yourself. I don't even try to question shyt anymore. I'm Agnostic and I do me.

If you're serious I'll offer my interpretation....

Prayer is about faith...people tend to think that the laws of the universe are separate from God and believing in God. But they're not.

Life is pretty fukkin simple if you dumb it down. "As a man thinketh so is he" If you one million percent believe in something no matter what it is or how impossible it may seem it WILL actually come to exist.

I believe that God is the first person to figure this out which is how he was able to create all things, however that does not mean that we are not our own gods with the ability to create a life that we want for ourselves, within the FIRST God's universe. So as an act of FAITH I think it's important to pray that god allows you to create the TRUE life that you want for yourself and others
