I know it was all part of the story but damn Flair burned Carlito's soul along with all the other lazy midcarders in that promo. Also if you listen close there's a hint of his retirement in it also.

The most ironic part about this is that Bryan basically said the same shyt on CM Punk's doc when he said there's guys hoping they don't have a Superstars match, so basically everything he said about guys like Carlito is still true 6 years later.

I was still more insulted by the original gimmick than this kofi..he was the black santino without the funny. but now hes just a no identity wrestler. he still gets a pop when his music hits more than other midcarders. He can be a bland face WHC just like all the other bland face WHC's. But after listening to him on Cabanas podcast you can tell he's just happy to be where he is cause he came from a corporate job he knows he can always go back to.

He doesnt have this ultimate want to be a world champ..so

Right... and I don't even think they had to barge in and be all aggressive about it. All they probably had to do is just step up and say something. There's no way you can convince me that someone like Perfect's son even took a step towards not being called Michael McGillicutty. That name damn near sounds like a test just to see if he would say anything about changing it. Anyone that doesn't speak up or act like they really give a fukk whether they get a shot or not... hard to feel bad for them when they don't get it. If they don't care enough to go for it, why would Vince or anyone else feel they deserve it?

His "gimmick" sucks but Kofi works his ass off breh he's easily one of the hardest working cats on the roster even if he lacks superstar quality mic skills, this doesn't apply to him at all.
