Lets Talk About Some Of The Most OP Weapons In Games

Rail Gun in Halo 4



It wasn't OP. It was efficient when used properly. Only a small percent of Halo 1 players can land a consistent 3 shot kill throughout a match.

• 3 shot kill with average shots to kill somewhere between 4-6
• Killed quickly (if you were super accurate) to counter the powerful weapons in the sandbox (rocket launcher, sniper, shotty (close range) and AR/Plasma Rifle (close range))
• You had to lead shots because the weapon was projectile based. It wasn't hit-scan like the H2 BR and the H4 rifles (minus carbine). Hit-scan meant that whenever the reticle was red the bullets would instantly hit the player you aimed at. Leading shots when dependent on how far/close you were to your opponent.
• Movement affected the direction of bullets.
• It had the lowest amount of auto aim and bullet magnetism out of all halo games. It took A LOT of skill to aim and shoot.

...that's funny...cause i seen a bunch of suck ass dudes who can only get headshots with the pistol...so how can it have the lowest amount of auto aim...

And this is Bungie we are talking about...the king of the equalizer weapon...that's one reason why halo is so popular...cause their are always a few weapons that you don't need any skill to use to be able to hold your own against better players...

Weapon was the penultimate of lame and any dude defending it is the exact type of dude i am talking about who is good with the pistol but trash with every other weapon on the game

Have you actually played Halo 1? Lan or XBC against GOOD PLAYERS, because you know it doesn't work on xbox live. The bolded is 100% FALSE, the Assault Rifle has the quickest melee speed in Halo 1, this is fact. Also, if you are getting double melee'd quickly from someone using the pistol (or any weapon) it's because they are using the BLB glitch (double melee), which is takes skill to pull off and is used by anyone that is good at H1 and is mostly pulled off with the AR because of it's fast melee speed.

The pistol was the gun you had to master if you wanted to be good at Halo 1, it's the equivalent of the BR and DMR in later halo games (but it took more skill than either of them). The fukk are you talking about being good with the pistol but being trash with other weapons? nikka you had to be good with the pistol to win games. Lemme guess, you ran around with the AR getting raped while crying about getting killed from the pistol? or were you the guy grabbing shotty and trying to kill players across the map? lmao. There is literally ZERO halo 1 players that are good who suck with the pistol. If you play Halo competitively (not just fukking around with friends) you need to be good with it.

(Gau was the most underrated character in that game. If you taught old dude the right rages, it was OVER. The Nighshade Rage used charm, a move that caused anything it hit to automatically attackk itself until it threw itself in the bushes, and it worked on EVERYTHING, including the final boss )

The thousand hand slap was best to me in streetfighter 2 turbo you could move it back and forth. I wanna say they fixed it in the HD remix.

First you said the double melee was a glitch, which by definition doesn't really take much skill to pull off, then you said you need skill to pull it off? So which one is it, is it some cheap ass exploit glitch, or do you need to be a skilled halo player to do it? If you are going to tell me it takes skill to use exploits, and you u actually use them, then i already see you one of them camping with the pistol type dudes

Scust at thinking being good with the pistol means you have skill in this game. I did run around with the AR and give people that work...I did run around with the shotgun and give people that work...We played TS on fiesta...where random weapons spawn in random places...so yeah you had to be good at the game...cause you know...you might not get your hand on a pistol...so you had to learn how to use all weapons...i bet you don't even know what fiesta is...i bet you looked at the screen like when i typed it

Ol never want to play battle creek ass nikka cause everyone stays in the base and you can't use a pistol to snipe them from across the stage ass nikka

ol never want to play prisoner cause their are to many columns and levels to get a clear shot with the pistol ass nikka...

Ol never played boardwalk cause there were to many teleporters for people to go through to fast to kill them with the pistol

And at comparing the pistol to a BR and a DMR...which are long to mid range rifles with scopes on them...does that make sense to you? Does it make sense to compare a hand held pistol to two hire powered rifles with scopes that can shoot in 3 round burst? You don't see a problem with this?
