Let's talk about Squaresoft/Enix falling off

Since merging with Enix, their titles have fallen off a cliff. They've pretty much just made Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games the last 10 years.

Looking at all those classics on the PS1......

something happened in the leadership when Enix came in...its like these nikkas started sabotaging every FF in some way. Making FF XI and XIV online? (even though i played it i would rather it be a separate franchise not a main number.

FF 12 was a absolute dream to play but the story was WARM GARBAGE...lets not start on 13

I agree, FF franchise fell off so badly

FF12 gambit system was incredible, I wish they would implement it in another games but story was subpar yet not as weak as...

...FF13! damn, how the fukk is this game so boring???? for about 2 years Im forcing myself to finish it but plot is so weak, characters are annoying, paradigm system is so-so...its like everything besides the graphics and some cutscenes suck

oh and FF14 I forced myself to play this piece of shyt for about an hour, then I immediately pressed delete

And making TWO! sequels for worst game in the franchise I wont even bother to download them

Before Square Enix came into the pictures, we had gems like FF6 FF7 FF8 FF9, im not too sure about FF10 , whether or not it was made by enix, but hell, even that game was piff. And from then on we had garbage like FF 10-2 ,FF 11, FF 12, FF 13 (Worst FF game, off-line) sh*t is crazy brehs.

I have no sympathy for Squeenix falling off. It's what they get for pushing the same rehashed garbage down their fans throats for years. Bethesda is now and for the foreseeable future now that EA has neutered Bioware. Squeenix for what they've done to a franchise I adored growing up.

FFX-2 wasn't that bad, and it was a sequel to one of the best FF's ever, FFX.

It really hurts that Square can't make a good FF game. I stole the newest non-online one from gamefly on PS3 and the story was AWFUL.

I used to as a kid whenever I'd hear about a new FF coming out. I lost a goddamn girlfriend because I wouldn't stop playing FF back in the day.
