Let's talk about "Tablets" for a minute...

I use my tablet to browse the internet and occasionally Skype.
It beats using my phone to watch videos, or a laptop if you want to be comfortable.
I have the Kindle Fire 8.9, which I would never recommend to anyone.
Kindles are limited Androids, you don't have the freedom to customize them.
And my piece of shyt freezes daily, I usually avoid Coli threads that have a bunch of gifs or pictures in them.
Should've spend the extra money to get an iPad.

Only thing that can replace the comfort of what I use currently is the surface pro line which is an actual laptop tablet

Yeah... Walmart had the Ipad Mini 2 for $199.99 all December... I almost bought one. Now it's $269.99.

Got a IPad Mini 2. Use it for when I'm in bed or need something portable to take notes in meetings. Also do photography so I can use it as a digital photo book. Had a Nexus 7, but it started running super slow after a while. I did love it before that issue tho.

For some reason I'm getting a the urge to buy a Tablet... I have some friends that love theirs and I have other friends that have bought tablets and never use them.
So... what do you Coli member think about Tablets?
1. How many of you guys have tablets?
2. If you have a tablet... what do you mostly use it for...?
2. Which Tablet gives you the best "Bang for your Buck"?
3. How many of you guys think tablets are a wastes of money if you already have a Computer/Laptop and a Smart Phone?
What's thecoli's thoughts on Tablets?

2. I used it mainly when my cell phone dies or watching Youtube and World Star with the family.
3. Not sure, they are all the same to me. I have a Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, and a Verizon Espen. A kindle can be had for $50 as a previous poster said.
4. I can't call it a waste of money because it's a nice back up when my phone dies but it is absolutely unnecessary to have.
I can't use iPads cause they have a magnet in it that could mess up my medical device. Due to traveling fukkery, my kindle fire hdx got jacked an airport bathroom when j took my eyes off it for a half second. But I plan to get another kindle, as far as I know it works the same way an iPad does. All the things I'm missing out on with the iPad i got with my iPhone. Win/win

I use my tablet all the time. I got a Nexus 10 that gets use almost everyday. I don't carry it but once I get home I let my phone chill and out comes the tablet. I use if for web browsing, reading, streaming video to the Chromecast, and tons of apps. Don't really game on it so that's why this older tablet still does me good. Probably upgrade to the Nexus 9 later or wait to see if another 10 inch Nexus comes out. When I really need to be productive or do schoolwork then my laptop comes out.

I have the IPAd2 haven't used it in a year would rather use this 6S 64gb because it's better
